Baby groot hug Nebraska Cornhuskers shirt. It’s fairly ridiculous to think that self interest, as exhibited in a crying baby a survival instinct, is not good. Otherwise, how do we define good? If a baby didn’t reflexively cry when hungry, it could die of starvation. Would that be good? Now would mom and dad feel if their baby were to starve to death? So it is clearly in both the self interest of parents and the baby for babies to cry when they have unmet needs.
