I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I left not long after that for several reasons but that statement showed me something I never really knew existed until that moment. I literally could not live with him because of what that one sentence revealed about who he was. On my lunch break I went to some picnic tables and did some bends and stretches, lifting and placing one leg at a time it on the table as I bonded my torso to make contact with each lifted leg.
