I agree that a bladed weapon up close would be very King of the Hill Yep ugly christmas sweater provided you have the speed and agility to not get stepped on, but as one who actually spends time practicing with swords, a zweihander like you showed may be a bit impractical unless you are extremely proficient with it. I certainly wouldn’t carry one if I was in the field. A long bladed knife like a Bowie, or perhaps a machete would be much more efficient to carry and to use, but admittedly, they would possibly require more than one strike to fell a Tyrannosaur. The zweihander does look pretty cool though, so I’m guessing that’s why you picked it for your graphic. Did you take into account that t rex has now been considered a scavenger? So as long as you didn’t stumble upon it while it was eating then you might not even bother it and could leave unscathed.
