I was privileged to help with Mickey mouse I’m not a regular nurse I’m a Disney Nurse shirt, though my sister did most of it because we were military and couldn’t move closer. Was it frustrating and heart breaking at times? Yes. But I was able to show her the care in her illness that she showed me as a child. She would say, I’m sorry I’m so much work, I’d say, Just paying you back for all the times you took care of me. It’s my turn now. So sad that some people don’t even want to deal with it and put their parents in nursing homes.
