There is so much wasted time I’m retired my job is to collect Flamingos shirt. I think that kids are way too many outside activities that keep them from home, and keep their parents on a continual “run-a-bout” shuttling kinds from one activity to another. It not only cuts down on time at home WITH parents and grandparents, but it exhausts parents. As a society we have worked ourselves into such a vortex of I’m so, that we can’t see straight. We need to slow waaaay back and take a look at what’s real and what will support our lives in a practical, even-keel, honest way. Sure, the outside activities are “fun”, but for godless sake, how much FUN do we need and what does it produce in the end. I have a friend who was born and raised in Switzerland.
