I was the only person registered to Sunflower You are my sunshine Disney shirt. As a young white person I found this very strange, yet I tried to be responsible and respectful with my vote. It is important, if you live in a precinct with low registration, your vote is so much more important for your family and community. I’m wondering why you mentioned where her mom was from but not where her dad was from. Is it assumed he’s from that barrio in New York. I’m only asking because from hearing Ms Ocasio on a podcast I know her dad was a big influence in her life. Not mentioning him like you did her mom makes it sound like he wasn’t in the picture.
