Do note that Animation & Direction are based on the studio's, and studio pierrot animation and direction are shit. They cut every possible corner. That doesn't mean that dragon Ball has the best studio either, but at least Toei does provide good looking episodes at as higher rate and do have better directors. Over all dragon Ball is better, obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but most people here simply don't have that good of anime judgment skills.
