Calligraphy would be a good subject, but keep in mind that very few teachers know how to do calligraphy, and there is little need for it, as it is considered an art form, and in the US most people care nothing for art forms, unless they think it will make them money. With computer printers and cheap vinyl cutting machines and millions of fonts, people don’t need to be able to to calligraphy, no matter how beautiful.
