The other aspect of the Navy working uniforms that is often overlooked is aesthetics. Not everything in a uniform has to serve a physical purpose. I personally think the Navy has some of the coolest camouflage around, and while it may not work very well to hide a sailors position, it looks really sharp. The aesthetics of the uniform do have value when it comes to recruiting.
